Get Up and Groove specialise in young people's parties. We don't do conservative clubs, anniversaries, 40th, 50th birthdays etc, and we never say we will (see Meet the DJ's Page - DJ Ali for the over 30's range). But we are experts in children's, teen, and young adult parties. This is because we know exactly how to provide a trendy, modern, and professional DJ service that is bespoke to these types of events.
The company is a partnership between DJ Phil & DJ Tash, therefore your party will be DJ'ed by Phil or Tash, no one else. This then ensures you get the right music played, at the right time. We'll play a great selection of the latest UK Chart Hits and popular tracks from the last ten years, blended with just the correct mix of disco & cheese classics (without overdoing it - we are not cheesey old DJ's!). With us playing RnB, Pop, Club, Dance, Indie, HipHop & more your party will be a guaranteed hit.
If you have a number of guests from older generations, just let us know and we can play a few more hits from the older genres that guarantee to get everyone dancing! We'll also provide you with a blank songsheet for you to fill in your favourite tracks, so we can play them for you at your party.

Mobile Disco Packages:
Silver Package
Mobile Disco with latest lighting and DJ equipment. Excellent sound system and night club style light show. Suitable for up to around 50 guests.
Gold Package
In addition to the Silver Package, you'll get a larger & more impressive DJ set up, suitable for 60 - 150 guests. We can add bubble, snow and smoke effects if required. We also include the Laser Light Show, along with UV and other night club style lighting, and 50 glow bracelets for your guests.
Wedding Package
If your having a wedding, this is the package for you. Suitable for around 150 guests. Our smartest and most impressive sound & light system. Wedding party planning guide included. A modern set up with professional star deck booth, mood up lighting, coloured to your wedding colour. Cordless Microphones for speeches. Bubble, snow, smoke effects included, 100 glow bracelets. Professional & reliable Wedding DJ's for your special day. Our Wedding Packages are suited to young couples up to 30 years old, looking for the latest chart music, Pop, Rnb etc. with a few older cheese/disco tracks without over doing it.
Platinum Packages
The ultimate DJ Experience. Choose between our 2 excellent Platinum Packages if you want the best Disco Experience at your party, and make your event the party of the year! Our most popular choice for School & College parties, plus 18th & 21st birthdays who want the best!
The UV Experience:
The full Ultra Violet experience. Lots of high powered UV lighting effects enhance your evening's entertainment. Ask your guests to wear UV paints, clothing or just white, and it looks absolutely brilliant.
The Night Club Experience:
The full night club experience at your party. Laser lighting effects and the latest DMX lights blast out across your venue to create a true night club feel. This package ensures your parties gona be a big one!
