Phil Dixon
Owner, DJ + Party Entertainer
Phil is a very keen and lively DJ, he has had an interest in the DJ business for a number of years, and began when he was just 14 years old in his bedroom. His specialism & interest in the styles of music includes the latest chart hits, Dance/Club, RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, & many more, & of course a bit of cheese & some oldies! Phil is still young (but with years of music and DJ experience), this has allowed him to be a very energetic and driven person who wants Get Up and Groove to be nothing other than the best entertaiment providers in Dorset!
After growing up as a youngster, every weekend he would be at the local social club disco's. Where he admired many other DJ's, like DJ Daz (Blitz Disco), and Paul Sounds, who worked the audience well and gave a good night. However Phil also saw many BAD Dj's try and perform a nights disco but failed, and so after a few years decided to invest large amounts of money in the best equipment and start his own company, Get Up and Groove! Using previous knowledge from fellow DJ's, and with his own DJ'ing flair, over the past four years DJ Phil has gained a brilliant reputation and is now busy every week with bookings!
He can add a great 'spark' to any event, he likes to ensure everyone is having fun and is often the first one on the dance floor making sure all your guests follow the moves!He is very good at getting everyone dancing, and is able to keep everyone there, which most DJ's seem to struggle with.
Phil has also had many years experience working with children, as he first began teaching sports at a local youth centre, and worked with his previous school providing entertainment & after school workshops.

Tash has become a very popular Dj and Kids party entertainer! Very often when she is out and about she is recognised by people as the 'DJ at that great party'. She is able to alternate between being a hard working teenage and adults Dj by night, and a popular entertainer at kids parties during the day!
An experienced teenagers, adults, and kids Dj, she performs at venues all around Poole, Bournemouth, and other areas etc. With deep knowledge in the latest chart toppers, Pop, RnB, and love of Club/Dance tracks she is a great addition to the Get Up and Groove Team.
